Frequently asked questions

You've got questions. We've got answers.

What is Cinematic Design Thinking?

Cinematic Design Thinking is a creative framework that connects the storytelling principles behind cinema — clarity, emotion, pattern, and meaning — to design and production practice. It helps creators think like directors, ensuring that every element supports the audience experience.

Who is this for?

Studios, producers, creative leads, and independent creators in film, games, animation, VFX, XR, and related fields, anyone seeking stronger story coherence and emotional engagement in their work.

How are sessions delivered?

All consultations and workshops are held live over Zoom (or in person by arrangement). You’ll receive any supporting materials such as slides, frameworks, or notes, after the session for continued reference.

What outcomes should we expect?

You’ll leave with clear insights, actionable recommendations, and frameworks you can immediately apply to your project, pitch, or pipeline.

How do I know which service is right for my team?

Start with a short discovery call to discuss your goals. From there, we can recommend whether a focused consultation, story audit, or full workshop best fits your needs.

Can we customize the workshop to our studio or IP?

Yes. Every workshop is tailored to your team’s size, skill set, and goals. Custom examples and exercises can be built around your own projects for maximum relevance.

Do you offer flexible or reduced pricing?

Yes. Pricing is structured to be respectful of the current state of our industries. Sliding-scale options and community rates are available, no explanation required.

Can we record our session?

Yes. You’re welcome to record any session for internal reference. Recordings and written summaries are also available for select packages.
